Different frames tell different stories.

A photo and a frame do not always share the same shape. This preview fills your chosen rectangle without stretching the picture. Use the sliders to choose which part stays inside the crop. The shaded area shows what will be removed.

Try a familiar example

A 3:2 image cropped to a 5:4 landscape print loses some width. For a 3,000 × 2,000 source, a 10 × 8 crop keeps 2,500 × 2,000 pixels. Moving the crop changes its position, not its size or resolution.

About the download

The PNG contains the selected crop at available source resolution, with dimensions rounded to whole pixels. We do not upscale it. Your printing software still needs the intended physical size. A printer's borderless setting or a frame opening may trim slightly more than this geometric preview.
